26 January 2011 1,576 views 3 Comments Written by Ronan

Blackburn midfielder Aaron Doran has joined Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan until the end of the season.

The 19 year old is a regular in the Irish under-19 side, and has been on loan from Blackburn at both Leyton Orient and MK Dons in the past few seasons. Doran has also seen game time with Blackburn, making three Premier League appearances in the 2009-10 season.

The winger will be hoping for more first team action, to add to his 13 career games to date. He could make his debut for ICT tonight against Aberdeen alongside Jonny Hayes, Richie Foran, and club top scorer Adam Rooney.

He’s an exciting talent. He made a very good impression on me towards the end of the 2008/2009 season. The SPL is a step-up from League 1 so I’m satisfied with this move. Inverness are a team going places with a manager that appreciates young players.

Very good move for the lad, and nice to see him get a few minutes tonight.
