26 August 2011 18,833 views No Comment Written by Ronan

Due to Shamrock Rovers’ amazing success in the Europa League this season, we’ve had a few people find us through google searches for “League of Ireland players playing abroad”. So in order to help those visitors out, as well as highlight the abundance of quality coming from the LoI, here’s a list of current players plying their trade in England, Scotland, Europe and further afield who used to line out in the Airtricity League or eircom League once upon a time.

Some of the player stats are missing, so if you can help out, please leave a comment below. No doubt we’ve also missed out a fair few players too!
