The Deutscher Fussball-Bund has announced that the fixtures for 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – UEFA Group C will be decided at a two day meeting in Frankfurt in November.

With Germany already well and truly qualified for Euro 2012, the DFB today released information about the two day fixtures meeting in Frankfurt. DFB general secretary Wolfgang Niersbach has invited representatives of football associations from the rest of the Group C teams to attend the meeting on November 17th and 18th.

Ireland will face Germany, Sweden, Austria, the Faroe Islands, and Kazakhstan in World Cup 2014 qualification, with fixtures beginning the week of September 6th 2012 and concluding on October 16th 2013. The nine group winners will qualify automatically for World Cup 2014, while the eight best second-placed teams will compete for the four remaining places.
