Ireland announce Poland friendly for November 19th
The Football Association of Ireland have announced details of a friendly international between Poland and the Republic of Ireland in Poznan on November 19.
The Boys in Green played the Poles at the start of the year at the Aviva Stadium, with Ciaran Clark and Wes Hoolahan scoring in the 2-0 friendly victory. November’s game will be the 25th meeting between the two sides, and see Ireland return to Poznan for the first time since Euro 2012.
According to the FAI press release “The squad announcement will take place in early November before which Ray Houghton and Ruud Dokter will provide an update to the FAI Board of Management on the managerial appointment process.”
Kickoff for the match will be at 19.45 Irish Time.
